It's Jess and I, and the Prius C. We've traveled over 1200 miles and have spent about $80 in gas.
We left Thursday around 4pm and made it to within an hour of the Ohio/Indiana border. Crashed around 1am at a Motel 6 and was on the road again at 6am. We traveled through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and then about an hour into Kansas decided to call it quits early for an earlier rise. We're leaving in a few now (4:30CT) and have somewhere between 6-8 hours of mostly Kansas until we hit Colorado Springs.
Missouri was the most surprising state so far. There are people in this state. The state seems normal. It was the most normal state we've driven through since NJ. I would never have guessed any of these things prior to this trip.
Yesterday I was able to get some work done on a few updates and processes we are changing in our tech department, now I'm on official vacation time and can put everything down. Next Tuesday I have one final piece of work to do for my Centerlines publication and then a week and a half of disconnecting!
One final note, all states have been 70MPH speed limits with exceptions to NJ, 65MPH, and Kansas, 75MPH!

My favorite part is that Kansas is the most "normal" state. I remember thinking that when I was in Kansas City, but I could never tell whether I was in Missouri or Kansas.
